Making Your Canoe Trip Reservation with Way To Go Canoe Outfitters

First Things First...Give Us a Call!

Call us at 218.365.7676 between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM Central Time to start discussing ideas for your wilderness canoe trip. Based on your group's objectives, desires, and abilities, we'll design a trip that everyone will enjoy. You may start your trip any day of the week. Once we've established your Entry Point and starting and ending dates, we can assist you in reserving your BWCAW or Quetico Park travel permit. For this, we'll need the name, mailing address, and phone number of the party leader and the alternate party leader of your group. Both of these names will appear on the travel permit, and at least one of them must be present on the trip. The permit covers up to nine people, so your ultimate group size does not need to be set in stone at the time of permit reservation.

American GothicCanoe Trip Outfitting & Overnight Lodging Reservations

To make a reservation with Way to Go, we require a $75 per person deposit for an All-Inclusive Outfitting Package or a Partial Outfitting Package. A $100 deposit per group will guarantee your reservation for Partial Outfitting items from our Á La Carte list. At the same time, you can reserve your group’s deluxe first night lodging accommodations and next-day continental breakfast, both of which are available right here at our outfitting post. We accept personal checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. Just call us at 218-365-7676 (Primary land line) or 218-349-0906 (Cell) to make your reservation.

BWCAW & Quetico Travel Permit Reservations

Boundary Waters Travel Permits
We can assist you in choosing an Entry Point in the Boundary Waters. To reserve a travel permit yourself, click here. The U.S. Forest Service will accept only MasterCard, Visa, or Discover credit cards for permit fee payment at the time of reservation. They will charge your credit card a non-refundable $6 permit reservation fee and a $32 User Fee, which covers the first two adults' camping fees. If there are more than two people in your party, the U.S.F.S. will charge your credit card an additional $16 per adult and $8 per child under age 18 when you pick up your BWCAW travel permit.

Quetico Provincial Park Travel Permits
To reserve a Quetico Park travel permit, the process is similar. We can make the reservation for you, or you may do it yourself. (Click here.) The non-refundable Permit Reservation Fee of $30.00, plus the Reservation Deposit Fee of $100.00 (a down payment on your party's daily camping fees) are payable by Visa or MasterCard.

Cancellations & Early Return Policies

If you cancel your canoe trip reservation for ANY reason...

   - at least 30 days before the scheduled start date, your entire trip deposit (minus a $50 service fee) is refundable or applicable to a future trip date, this year or next.

   - 15-29 days before the scheduled start date, your deposit (minus a $50 service fee) is not refundable, but can be applied to a future trip with Way to Go Canoe Outfitters anytime this season or next.
