If you're like most people, you'll want to make the journey from home to Ely the day before your canoe trip begins. Upon arriving at our outfitting base, we'll help you get squared away with all of your outfitting provisions, and go over your trip plans, map work, and final preparations.
Then, allow us to show you the "way to go" to one of our deluxe private overnight lodging rooms, featuring single bunks, single and double beds, fresh linens, pillows, and cozy fleece sleeping bags. Each air-conditioned, carpeted room has a large table for map study, game playing, etc., and its own adjacent private bathroom with shower. You'll find your room to be a pleasant, spacious northwoods retreat!
Dinner is available with a quick, 5-mile drive on scenic Highway 1 to Ely, where you'll find numerous restaurants from which to choose. Soon, you'll return to our outfitting base, away from the hustle and bustle of town, and settle in to your room for the night.
We advise making your overnight lodging reservations with us early. Space is limited. In the event that our rooms are already full for the date you require, we will gladly recommend other lodging establishments in the Ely area where you can stay.
